Botter Trail Run @ Botriver

"Botter" Trail run - SPUR COUNTRY CLASSIC SERIES - 2013. RACE # 4

Join us for a spectacular trail run , wine tasting at Beaumont Wines and a weekend of family fun at the Botriver annual Spring Festival.

LIMITED, 300 pre entries only. Entries close on 27 August 2013 at mid night or once 300 runners have entered.

Please note no water tables or refreshments on route. No refunds once entered. Substitutions allowed at R30 admin fee.

Distances: 21km or 10km

The 10 km run is suitable for novice-intermediate "trail" runners. The route is by no means flat but it's on a great hiking trail.

The 21km route has a altitude gain of 1280m in total. The route is challenging from the 4km - 7km mark - steep up. The rest of the route is undulating with spectacular views. After the halfway mark, the 21km runners will run "next to" a railway track.

Botrivier Van der Stel Pass Challenge

Make sure not to miss the 8th Botrivier van der Stel Pass Challenge in aim of the Botriver Education Foundation (BEF).

BEF is a voluntarily association established in 2005 with the aim to motivate and encourage students in the Botrivier community to study in the fields of engineering, accounting and medicine

This Challenge consists of a 60km, 40km and 15km MTB and

a 21km, 10km, 5km running/walking road race. As well as a Culltural historic race of 6 km.

All proceeds of the race are towards the BEF’s mentoring program.
